This Patent Pending mount is CNC Machined from 1.0″ thick 6061-T6 aluminium.  Additionally, it is Type III Hard Coat Anodized per MIL-A-8625 and comes with a lifetime warranty*.  This model rotates fully with 4 locking positions at 0, 30, 60 and 90 degrees to allow you to pivot or swivel the motor into position. Fully compatible with your Minn Kota, Garmin, Rhodan, Power-Pole, Motorguide or any other trolling motor with up to 120 inch shaft length. If you want to use your standard quick release mount such as RTA-17, MKA-21, RTA-54, RTA-62, MKA-64, RTA-55, MKA-56, or Garmin versions, we have those hole patterns included already so you are all set!  Quest series motors require QST-1 expander plate so please add that to your cart when ordering for those motors.  With a built in, simple to use detent mechanism, simply pull the large pin and rotate the motor so the shaft clears the rub rail.  Easy!   The SS-9.5R is the most robust rotating mounting system available today.

Why choose SS-9.5R over the SS-7.5R? (Short Video)

  • You want to reduce the amount of pressure on your deck (clear deck space required for a 9.5″ diameter circle)

Why choose a rotating mount?

  • You have limited space to attach a trolling motor
  • You want the trolling motor to sit off to the side and sit along the gunwale
  • You want a clear view of the bow without the trolling motor obstructing your field of view
  • ALL SS-9.5R  mounts require 6 holes in your deck for proper attachment with first bolt within approximately 13 inches from edge of rub rail
  • Uses all 3/8″ 316 Stainless hardware
  • Optional Backing plate BKP-9.5R recommended if your have concerns about your deck

This thing is dope. So much crap out there these days, it’s nice to see some real beefy products that are over-engineered to outlast the buyer. Well done.

Thank you for guiding me to make the best decision for my trolling motor mount. Also, I’d just like to compliment ShuttleSlide for having the absolute best customer service I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in all of my 77 years.

Just wanted to thank you for an amazing product. This thing is built like a tank and it won’t be long now before I start running charters for the year. It’s going to be so nice not having to throw an anchor!! Using the Quest / 32′ SeaVeeZ
