This Patent Pending mount is CNC Machined from 1.0″ thick 6061-T6 aluminium. Additionally, it is Type III Hard Coat Anodized per MIL-A-8625 and comes with a lifetime warranty*. This model rotates fully with 4 locking positions at 0, 30, 60 and 90 degrees to allow you to pivot or swivel the motor into position. Fully compatible with your Minn Kota, Garmin, Rhodan, Power-Pole, Motorguide or any other trolling motor with up to 120 inch shaft length. If you want to use your standard quick release mount such as RTA-17, MKA-21, RTA-54, RTA-62, MKA-64, RTA-55, MKA-56, or Garmin versions, we have those hole patterns included already so you are all set! Quest series motors require QST-1 expander plate so please add that to your cart when ordering for those motors. With a built in, simple to use detent mechanism, simply pull the large pin and rotate the motor so the shaft clears the rub rail. Easy! The SS-7.5R is the most robust rotating mounting system available today.
Why choose SS-7.5R? (Short Video)
- You have limited space to mount a trolling motor (clear deck space required for a 7.625″ diameter circle)
- You want the trolling motor to sit off to the side and sit along the gunwale
- You want a clear view of the bow without the trolling motor obstructing your field of view
- ALL SS-7.5R mounts require 6 holes in your deck for proper attachment with first bolt within approximately 14 inches from edge of rub rail
- Uses all 3/8″ 316 Stainless hardware
- Optional Backing plate BKP-7.5R, or BKP-9.5R recommended if your have concerns about your deck

Mounted the 7.5R on my Sea Hunt 212 Triton. So far, I think it’s great. It’s very sturdy and effective and tucks my TM neatly away. Your rotating mount is solid and built like a tank.

The trolling motor was the final piece to bring my 2005 Contender “dream boat” together. I am very happy I went with your mount. I’ve only had positive experiences with Shuttleslide- the mount, the staff, everything. It’s thicker and better anodized than others being sold today, and multiple locking stop points. Thanks so much and of course I will highly recommend you to anyone looking for a mount.

It is well made and worked perfectly on my Scout 255LXF with the MinnKota trolling motor.

Finally was able to get my Garmin kraken and shuttle slide mount mounted !! What absolute beasts both units are!! Sandy & the ShuttleSlide company were such great people to work with. I HIGHLY recommend this mount and this company … such a pleasure working with them as they answered all my questions and were super helpful throughout the entire. process. They are the best in the business! I added my pictures onto the Kraken Owners Facebook page too.

Best rotating one the market, 7.5R has far exceeded my expectation. Just last week we were getting pummeled by 4 foot swells on a 69 mile run in lightening storms. Bad enough one outrigger snapped at the base and fell into boat. TM auto deployed once but Shuttle Slide base withstood the beating with zero issues. And sure is nice not having to climb up on gunnel to deploy motor!

Really nice mount. 0 complaints and like everything about it. It’s definitely awesome. Installed it on a SeaHunter boat with a Garmin Kraken.

We love it! I told our sales team we really do not want to install any more trolling motors on center consoles without one! Perfect for Sportsman models

I appreciate the product and was pleasantly surprised with its quality of build and the ease of use. For my installation, it could not line up better with the longitudinal axis of the boat. I considered another similar mount, but honestly what deterred me from the other mount was the cost and single detent for use when deployed. I was concerned about it moving around while underway.

We’ll continue to use the 7.5r rotating mounts for all our trolling motor installs. We like y’all brackets 10x better than the other products available today.

I also posted on facebook, I have had this mount for almost a year now! This mount is awesome! By far the best one on the market!

I WILL GET YOU GUYS A VID SOON. BUT FOR NOW YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR PRODUCT IS TOP SHELF! IT WORKS AMAZING AND THE FIT AND FINISH IS BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!
Intrepid –
I would have probably bought a trolling motor years ago but I couldn’t find a good solution for mounting one on my Intrepid CC without building a custom mount. I needed something that would allow the trolling motor shaft to lay down the gunnel during storage while overhanging the side enough to deploy during use, I also did not want to block the anchor locker or have to remove the bow cleat and navigation lights.
The ShuttleSlide 7.5R rotating mount was the answer I was looking for. The rotating base allowed me to mount the trolling motor in the stored position which aligned with the gunnel and then pivot to the left 45 degrees to deploy. The ShuttleSlide 7.5R rotating mount was shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. All mounting hardware was included. The 7.5R is well made of heavy duty aluminum. It is seriously sturdy! The pre-drilled bolt patterns matched the Rhodan Trolling Motor perfectly. As recommended by a ShuttleSlide representative, the Rhodan could be mounted directly to the 7.5R without the use and added expense of a quick release mount. I didn’t anticipate needing to remove the trolling motor during the season so I didn’t bother with the quick release. I believe the lower profile looks better.
The install was a breeze with a second set of hands. I do want to stress for those who don’t read instructions, Do NOT use the deployed position as your starting point or you may find that the stowed position will not have a suitable locking point! I caught this before I drilled holes in my deck. Find a locked position at storage and then ensure there is a suitable locked position when deployed. This is the only “tricky” aspect of installation. With the trolling motor securely bolted in with a 1/4″ backing plate I was able to install my lithium batteries, 3 bank charger, breaker, trolling motor plug and all related wiring. I would highly recommend using the ShuttleSlide 7.5R rotating mount . Well built, reasonably priced, easy to install, easy to use and built in the USA!
